Now Open: HEART-GeN Summer Scholar Program (Deadline March 27, 2026)
HEART-GeN Summer Scholar Program
The HEART-GeN Summer Scholar Program is a paid, full-time summer research experience hosted by the HEART-GeN Lab at Northwestern University’s medical campus in Chicago, IL.
Scholars receive structured training in computational biology, genomic neuroscience, and scientific communication while embedded in an active research lab committed to health equity and diverse scientific excellence.
This is a defined enrichment program, not a general assistantship. Scholars complete a structured curriculum, contribute to ongoing research, and leave with tangible skills, a research report, and a network of mentors.
