On February 27, 2026, Manuel Hurtado Jr., Yiju Choi, and Sula Perloff represented the HEART-GeN Lab at Chicago SfN.

Yiju presented her work on functional annotation of genetic ancestry-associated variants across the human brain, sharing results and engaging with attendees throughout the poster session.

We are proud of the team’s strong presence at the meeting and grateful for the opportunity to connect with the broader neuroscience community in Chicago.
